Hello again, my friends and family!
It has been a long time since my last post. After a busy first semester of teaching, a busy Christmas Break, and a flying start to the second semester I found some time to get out and about with my camera. I hope you enjoy these photos from Forest Park on a cool February night.
The James S. McDonnell Planetarium (of McDonnell-Douglas aerospace fame), a part of the Saint Louis Science Center. I love this unique, modern design, and it does very well with night time photography.

"Apotheosis of Saint Louis" and the Saint Louis Art Museum.
A closer look at our city's principal symbol - a statue of the city's namesake: Saint Louis, King of France (or Louis IX of France).

The Jefferson Memorial, home of the Missouri History Museum and Missouri Historical Society. From www.mohistory.org :
The neoclassical building was built with proceeds from the World's Fair to honor President Thomas Jefferson's role in the Louisiana Purchase. It was dedicated in 1913. It was built on the site of the main entrance to the 1904 World's Fair and was designed by Isaac S. Taylor, who was also the chief architect of the Fair. In 1913 the Jefferson Memorial Building was the only monument of national stature honoring Thomas Jefferson, preceding the more famous domed structure in Washington, D.C., by 25 years.
